Promoting and protecting Economic, Social, Cultural, Civil and Political Rights and supporting access to lawful redress.
We are a voluntary association of concerned African citizens committed to promoting and protecting human rights, non-violence, good democratic governance and community development.
CENAHURI P&D was founded by concerned African citizens, many of whom had experienced human rights abuses and violations. The Centre was established pursuant to the African Charter of Human and Peoples’ Rights and was incorporated in Nigeria in 2007 as a non-governmental, non-profit organisation.
